Prevention Education Specialists

A certified prevention education specialist is a professional who has been trained to understand how risk factors threaten today's students, how to reduce youth's exposure to these problems and how to increase students' resilience in the face of these issues. These specialists are assigned to schools across the district and provide services to promote socials skills development and build assets in youth. Audiences we service include:

  • students of all ages
  • parent and other relatives
  • school district faculty and staff members
  • community agencies and organizations
