Novel Initiative

Through the Novel Initiative, four core novels were selected for grades 6–12.  The instructional focus of literature provides a connection for adolescents with the text to self, text to text, and ultimately, text to the world. Studying core novels establishes a base of study for a seamless curriculum from grade level to grade level.
