 SIS Search: Phase I

Phase I of the project focuses on a district-wide needs analysis and the development of a Request for Proposal (RFP).

The following steps outline the key activities of Phase I to occur between July 17 and September 28, 2012:

  • CELT and FWISD will conduct a thorough needs analysis to include: the gathering of data through stakeholder interviews, focus groups, site visits, and document review to determine the needs of the district to be addressed by the new SIS.
  • The development of functional requirements of the new SIS based on identified needs, best practices, research, and the district’s vision and strategic plan.
  • Review of functional requirements with the SIS selection Project Team.
  • Request for Proposal development and release.
