The Fort Worth Library is one of only 40 libraries across the country selected to host an exhibition tracing Lincoln’s path from a self-educated, rough-hewn lawyer with almost no administrative experience to the president who guided our nation through the crises of slavery, secession, and civil war.

This exhibition is organized by the Gilder Lehrman Institute and is made possible in part by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.  It comes to Fort Worth through the efforts and support of The Fort Worth Public Library Foundation.

The exhibit is free and available during the Central Library’s open hours.
