Homebound/Hospital Services
Homebound instruction provides special education and related services to eligible students with disabilities who are served at home or hospital bedside due to severe or chronic medical reasons.
Homebound Instruction
This instructional setting is provided for eligible students with disabilities who are confined to their home for a period of four or more weeks as documented by a physician licensed to practice within the United States.
Hospital/Hospital Bedside Instruction
Special education instruction will be provided in a classroom or bedside to eligible students who have been admitted to a hospital setting. These students are not able to receive instruction on a general education campus due to their confinement in the hospital.
