And the award goes to...

Campus Website of the Week is designed to highlight the hard work and dedication of those individuals who maintain and update Fort Worth ISD's individual campus websites. The overall goal is to ensure each website contains relevant, current information that is both attractive and engaging to students, parents, staff and the community.  Each month, the Fort Worth ISD Webby Award also recognizes overall excellence regarding the campus websites.

"Great things go on here at Sunrise and our website is how we show them off!" Wiley said. "Our Student Engagement section is just one of the many ways our website allows us to do this."

In addition to Campus Web Manager, Wiley is a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and Technology Integration Educator at Sunrise-McMillan. 

"I like working on our website because it keeps me involved in all aspects of the school," she said.  "Not only do I get the joy of teaching my own students, I am also involved in other grades and programs.  It helps me connect with other students, teachers, and staff."

Wiley says the website keeps parents and the community involved in the school as well. 

"Student success is dependent upon a collaboration between students, administrators, teachers and staff, parents, and community partners," she said.  "Our website allows us to quickly share information that is vital to reach our main goal of high student academic achievement."
