WASHINGTON HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Susana Sandoval-Aranda
The Fort Worth Independent School District is proud to recognize Washington Heights Elementary School and Campus Web Manager Susana Sandoval-Aranda for having the Campus Website of the Week for May 14-18.  Congratulations!

Campus Website of the Week is designed to highlight the hard work and dedication of those individuals who maintain and update Fort Worth ISD's individual campus websites. The overall goal is to ensure each website contains relevant, current information that is both attractive and engaging to students, parents, staff and the community.  Each month, the Fort Worth ISD Webby Award also recognizes overall excellence regarding the campus websites.

"Managing the WHE website is very rewarding, but it does take effort," Sandoval-Aranda said.  "What I like most is being able to entertain and inform our school community and encourage them to come back again and again."

Sandoval-Aranda is a Kindergarten teacher at Washington Heights Elementary.  In addition to Campus Web Manager, she also serves as the school's Technology Integration Educator.   She has been with the District for the past four years.

"I think the main goal of the website is to get people to visit it, but getting those people to come back more than once is what really makes a difference in any school website," she said.  "The best way to do this is to keep your website up-to-date with important information for students and parents."

Sandoval-Aranda is especially proud of the site's Photo Galleries

"They show all the great things happening at WHE," she said.
