Campus Website of the Week is designed to recognize schools for their online efforts to inform, engage and entertain members of the campus community. 

Each month, the District issues a challenge to encourage schools to utilize their campus website to communicate with students, parents and more. Finalists are selected for Campus Website of the Week, with the overall winner taking home the coveted Webby Award.

The challenge for January is to "Celebrate Our School Partners." As we kick off the new year, our campuses want to reflect on the companies, organizations and groups that pitch in to make a difference.  

Campus Web Manager Amanda Flatlie-Willis said, "The website helps build parent involvement by helping parents stay connected to events going on at school."

The Manuel Jara Elementary School campus website hosts information about its High Five (Fathers Imparting Values in Education)Club and United Way Coin Drive!

"This helps our school mission by keeping parents up to date and involved in our school," Flatlie-Willis said.
