Fort Worth's community centers offer after-school programming five days a week that provides recreational, cultural and educational activities for kids between the ages of 5 and 13. The programs value education as a top priority, with community center staff assisting with homework completion and tracking student grades, citizenship, and STAAR results throughout the school year. In addition, students have access to computer labs and learning centers to supplement their education.
Fitness and activity are also fundamental aspects of the after-school programs, as participants are encouraged to participate in a variety of sports, games, and artistic pursuits in order to develop teamwork, improve social skills, and build self-esteem. Nutritious snacks are provided to students every afternoon, and outside guest speakers often stop by to talk with students about ways to handle difficult situations, or discuss other opportunities and life skills.
Have a fun time as you learn from God’s Word - Bible lessons, activities, singing, games, prizes, refreshments and much more.
