I began teaching in FWISD at South Hills High School as a Biology teacher in 2009.  I served as both a Lead Content Teacher and a Department Chair.   When choosing a career I originally wanted to be an artist but as doors began to open my path quickly changed to education.  I love what I do.  I'm here for the students and to support the teachers.  

When I'm not at work or school I love to spend time with my wonderful husband and 3 beautiful daughters.

Ms. Rhynes is originally from Louisiana and began her career as 3^rd grade teacher at S.S. Dillow Elementary. Ms. Rhynes has over 25 years of working in education with 20 of those years working with students in FWISD. In her spare time, Ms. Rhynes enjoys shopping, reading, and spending time with her family. Ms. Rhynes believes that a collaborative school environment is the key to creating successful teachers and students. She believes partnerships with parents and community partners are essential to enriching the experience at S.S. Dillow Elementary.
