Community Leaders and Alumni Turn Out for Rediscover Fort Worth ISD Celebration at North Side High School: The Fort Worth ISD continued its series of Rediscover FWISD events this week with a look at new facilities at North Side High School. Dozens of attendees at the June 9 gathering received an update on the school’s 2017 bond projects, including a state-of-the-art mariachi rehearsal hall, renovation of the choir and orchestra hall, new cosmetology salon/classroom, two-bay auto technology work space and new science labs.

Visitors also saw areas still under construction, including a variety of classrooms and three corridors that will soon connect all the buildings on campus together. The tours ended at the historic 1936 front entrance, on a bluff overlooking the city, where culinary arts students served refreshments. Learn more here.
