Fanny Sancen

Fanny Sancen was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She is a proud product of FWISD having attended De Zavala Elementary, Dagget Middle School, and Trimble Tech High School.

Ms. Sancen received her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of North Texas and her Master’s degree in Teaching from Louisiana College.

Fanny Sancen began her career as a middle school tutor at Meacham Middle school in 2007, where she realized teaching was her passion. She has worked at Middle Level Learning Center and Rosemont Middle school as an English Language Arts teacher, and presently here at Mitchell, as our Instructional Literacy Coach. She believes that every child can learn, and it is our job as educators to provide that opportunity. As Instructional Coach, she hopes to support teachers, students, and staff to meet the needs of all students.

She enjoys watching tv, movies, and time with family and friends, but most of all, being with her son and daughter.

Denise Ramirez

Mrs. Ramirez is a proud product of the Fort Word Independent School District. Having graduated from Paschal High School she later went on to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with Bilingual Emphasis from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at Arlington. Mrs. Ramirez has taught dual language third, fourth, and fifth grade math and science. She began her career with Fort Worth ISD as an AVID tutor for 7th and 8th grade students at JP Elder Middle. This is her third year at The Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard and her first year as an instructional coach. 

Mrs. Ramirez is passionate about the importance of education and providing every student an engaging learning environment that fosters leadership and good character. As an instructional coach she is devoted to support campus teachers at the Leadership Academy at Mitchell Blvd in order to improve teacher best practices and student achievement.

Mrs. Veronica Seidenstein

Our Data Analyst - Mrs. Seidenstein was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration  from The University of Texas at Arlington. She started her career as a loan officer for two local Credit Unions before she was called to be an educator. 

She has now been with Fort Worth ISD for over 20+ years. She was a classroom bilingual teacher for 12 years teaching grades Pre-K through 2nd. Served as a Math coach for 4 years and now as a Data Analyst for the past 6 years.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing Sudoku and traveling. Her passion for educating children and building relationships is neverending. Although she is no longer in the classroom there is seldom a time that she is not spending time with a scholar or more.

Regina Woods

Ms. Woods has served in many capacities in FWISD. She was a classroom teacher at Eastern Hills Elementary and Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center. She served as a Math Specialist on the Instructional Support Team, a Cluster Coach, and a Curriculum Specialist in the Elementary Literacy Department. She feels blessed to have worked in these positions, but she’s loving being a librarian at the Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard.

Ms. Woods has two children of her own and two bonus children. She has three grandchildren who fill her heart with joy every day. She loves reading, exploring technology and traveling.

Her hope is to help our scholars find joy in reading and empower them to use technology that will help them think, create, share and grow.
