Before becoming an educator, I worked for Verizon for 18 years. My husband, Abraham, and I have a beautiful daughter named, Alexandria, who is an awesome professional dancer. We enjoy spending our time together and with our pet dog, Webster, who we love very much.
I have been in the education field for 16 years and this is my second year at M.L. Phillips Elementary. I am very excited to be teaching second grade and looking forward to an awesome 2019-2020 school year!
I have a passion for teaching and want to inspire and encourage students to strive for success and teach them through experience and commitment how to realize their full potential to become the best they can be in achieving their goals. I want to inspire the uninterested student to become engaged in learning. By having high expectations for myself and my students, I believe that I will be preparing them for success in college, career and community leadership.
