Carlos Mendoza arrived at Meacham Middle School after having held many positions of leadership across the district. As a life-long resident of our city, a former Director in Human Capital Management in Fort Worth ISD and a longtime Fort Worth Principal he arrives well prepared to move this campus forward. Carlos believes that the greatest impact on the work of educating children derives from providing them with the very best teachers and support personnel available. He is prepared to work tirelessly as he helps the teachers at Meacham to reach new levels of greatness for our students. With an understanding that the school exists to serve the families that enter its doors, Mr. Mendoza looks forward to meeting you all and to hearing your ideas, concerns, and solutions as we work together to make Meacham the very best middle school campus in the city. Mr. Mendoza holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Wesleyan University and a master's degree from Texas A&M University.  In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth baseball and maintaining his small goat farm in Parker County, Texas.

I am proud to be part of the Meacham team. Before I became an educator, I served in the U.S. Army. It was during that time that I served a tour in the Persian Gulf. Working with the students and staff at Meacham MS provides me the opportunity to work with an amazing group of people. I am confident in our staff and what the future holds for the Meacham Community.
