This is my first year at Westcliff and my first year with FWISD.  I have taught 1st grade and 3rd grade language arts, and I am very excited to come on board as the Dyslexia Teacher at Westcliff. I am a native Texan who grew up in Arlington. I love to read, quilt, and ride a 4-wheeler. My husband and I have two amazing sons and one lovely daughter-in-law, and through them we proudly support the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Ms. Sofia Wong ~ Speech Therapist

Hello Westcliff family! My name is Sofia Wong. This is my first year at Westcliff Elementary. I am very excited to be part of a team of professionals who share a common goal of being great educators and role models for our students.

I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. I worked as a Spanish and English language instructor at universities and schools in Japan for a decade. Eight years ago, I moved to the US where I graduated with a master’s degree in Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology at TCU.

This academic year, my goal is to improve my skills as an SLP and to positively impact the speech and language of many children.
