I’m Morghan Jones and this is my seventh year in education. I graduated from Huston-Tillotson University and received my master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. Learning students and their educational needs keep me going and engaged each school year.

This is my 29th year as an educator. I graduated from Louisiana State University in elementary education. I have taught all the elementary grades. I have been a Reading Recovery teacher, a classroom teacher, and a reading interventionist. My favorite pastime is reading to my grandchildren. This is my second year as a dyslexia teacher.

I have been in education for over 15 years, working with autistic and behavioral students. I have 2 grandkids and 2 dogs. I work with Special Olympics and Tarrant Food Bank.

My work, care, and concern for children has existed for several years.  This includes my work with four Youth Associations in Fort Worth, FWISD Adopt-a School Program, and Junior Achievement.

This school year of 2022-2023 marks my tenth consecutive year with FWISD. The majority of my employment has been as a substitute teacher for grades Pre-K through 12. This is my second year at Harlean Beal Elementary as a Teacher Assistant in Special Education (SEAS-Social, Emotional, and Academic Success).
