Miss Tate

Miss Tate is a Professional School Counselor at Seminary Hills Park Elementary School.  She’s been the school counselor at SHP since 2017.  She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a classroom teacher at Fort Worth ISD and taught various grades. In November of 2009, she earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling and a Masters in Professional Counseling in 2017, both from Amberton University in Garland, Texas. 

Miss Tate has one son, Dillion, who is the love of her life.

Miss Tate believes in a comprehensive counseling program that addresses the academic, college/career, and personal/social development of all students.

Mrs. Flinn

Mrs. Flinn is a Licensed Social Worker who is passionate about helping children and their families handle difficult situations that can prevent learning and growing. Mrs. Flinn helps our students and families through resource referrals, home visits, individual and group counseling as needed, and assisting with crisis intervention. Mrs. Flinn helps our bumblebees be the BEST they can BEE!

Mrs. Cary

My name is Mrs. Cary and I am a Qualified Mental Health Professional here at Seminary Hills. My role as a Navigator is to provide access and referral service coordination to families that are a part of FWISD. I also provide support for students and teachers, lead social/emotional groups and help with students who need extra support both inside and outside of the classroom. This will be my second year in this role but my first at SHP and I am so excited!  I graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2018 with my Bachelors in Psychology. I am married and have 3 children, 2 boys (7 and 1) and 1 girl (3). Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors! I am looking forward to a wonderful year here at SHP!

Hi! - I'm Ms. Hardy.  I have been a librarian in FWISD for 17 years, and this is my 5th year at SHP.  I love being a librarian and helping kids meet their new favorite books!  When I'm not working, I love to travel to new places, practice yoga, and, of course, READ!!!

Ms. Hughes

Hi, I'm Ms. Hughes, the Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. This will be my 5th year in FWISD and my 8th year as a Speech Language Pathologist. I am a proud double-Frog, graduating with both my bachelor's and master's degrees in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth--Go Frogs! When I'm not at school, I love to spend time with my family and my two standard poodles, Atticus and Oliver.  I am so excited to continue working with the wonderful families and students at Seminary Hills Park this year. SHP is the place to BEE!! 

 

 

Patologa del habla-lenguaje bilingüe, Este año será mi quinto año en FWISD y mi octavo año trabajando como una patóloga del habla y lenguaje. Soy una orgullosa doble Rana, me gradué con mi licenciatura y maestría en Patología del Habla y Lenguaje de la Universidad Cristiana de Texas en Fort Worth. ¡Vamos Ranas! Cuando no estoy en la escuela, me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia y mis dos caniches estándar, Atticus y Oliver. I am starting my 15th year with the district. Prior to becoming a diagnostician, I was a resource/inclusion teacher at Daggett Montessori (K-8th). I have an undergraduate degree in Child Development and Human Studies with a minor is Psychology from University of Nort Texas, and I have a graduate degree is Special Education from Stephen F. Austin. When I am not working, I enjoy gardening and spending time with pets.

Mrs. Garcia

Hello! I'm Mrs. Garcia, I'm a dyslexia teacher at Seminary Hills Park Elementary. This will be my 7th year as a dyslexia teacher and I have been an elementary teacher for a total of 18 years.

A  little about me: I was born and raised in Mexico City. I live with my husband, 2 daughters and 2 dogs named Sally and Ruby. As a family we enjoy camping and playing board games. I love reading and usually read 3 books at a time.

Mrs. Reynolds

Mrs. Reynolds is an All StARS teacher with the Fort Worth School District. She has been teaching positive behavior intervention-based education for 28 years. She has experience working with a variety of ages (early Childhood-age 21+) in a variety of settings (regular education, special education, transition, and home school).  She is here to support your Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies, Social Skills, and Social Emotional needs.

Hello, my name is Melvin Bryant. This is my twenty-third year in education.  Currently, I am working as a  ALL STARS teacher at Seminary Hills Parks Elementary. I am an alumni  of  Fort Worth ISD schools . I currently hold a bachelors degree from  Dallas Baptist University and  a M.Ed. from Cambridge College in Boston Massachusets.
