Why I Teach:  I love teaching at DMS!  We have such a well-rounded student body, and so much talent to showcase.  My love of teaching relates to teaching the "whole child", and Montessori philosophy is right on target!  I believe that if I can help my students navigate how to overcome challenges through music, discover that they are members of a great community of musicians, and reveal strategies that translate to success and happiness in their lives--well, then I have served my students as I should as a music educator.

Experience:  10 years at DMS!

Why I Teach: Most of my family members are in education, so I did NOT want to be a teacher : )  I wanted to be a physical therapist until I realized teaching is in my blood.  I love being at DMS specifically because I am able to see students from K all the way to 8th grade.
