September 11th we are co-hosting our own Cross-Country meet with Carter Riverside at Buck Sansom Park. We will need a lot of adult volunteers. This is a great way to encourage your student athletes and you should get a T-Shirt or food for working. Volunteers will need to report at 7 a.m. should be done no later than noon.  My goal is to make this meet an annual event and the more volunteers we have the smoother the event will go, and the more likely teams will want to return. Please think about volunteering and if you choose to do so, please email Coach Briggeman or Coach Daniels. Looking forward to a new school year and a great season.

Saturday, August 28th we took a small team to the Paschal Invitational and our JV girls team killed it, placing 3rd over all out of 10 teams.  We also had a few girls bring home some hardware: Janet Watson (Varsity) - 20th out of 52 girls, Bell Ibarra (JV) - 2nd out of 140 girls and Abby Martinez (JV) - 20th out of 140 girls.

Then, back on August 12th we took a full team to The Buff.  It was an afternoon/evening meet at 97 degrees with a 101 heat index and we still had athletes bring home some hardware!
