I was born in Dominican Republic and grew up in New Jersey. After my time in the military, my family and I moved to Texas where I started a teaching career. I graduated from Texas Tech University. This is my first-year teaching and what I love most about teaching is the connections I get to make with my students and their families. I enjoy spending time with my family and being out in nature.
Nací en República Dominicana y crecí en Nueva Jersey. Después de mi tiempo en el ejército, mi familia y yo nos mudamos a Texas, donde comencé una carrera docente. Me gradué de la Texas Tech University. Este es mi primer año de enseñanza y lo que más me gusta de la enseñanza son las conexiones que tengo con mis alumnos y sus familias. Me gusta pasar tiempo con mi familia y estar en la naturaleza.

I have been teaching for 22 wonderful years! I was born and raised in Fort Worth and graduated from Paschal High School. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from Texas Wesleyan University. There are so many things I love about teaching! First are the students of course! My passion is reading and when I see students reading independently deeply engaged in thought, it truly warms my heart! In the classroom I live for those “ah moments” that students have. I love shopping, cooking and most of all being a mommy to my two daughters.
¡He estado enseñando durante 22 años maravillosos! Nací y crecí en Fort Worth y me gradué de la Preparatoria Paschal. Recibí mi licenciatura en Estudios Legales de la Texas Wesleyan University. ¡Hay tantas cosas que amo de enseñar! Primero están los estudiantes por supuesto! Mi pasión es leer y cuando veo que los estudiantes leen de forma independiente y profundamente comprometidos con el pensamiento, ¡realmente calienta mi corazón! En el aula vivo por esos "ah momentos" que tienen los alumnos. Me encanta ir de compras, cocinar y sobre todo ser una mamá para mis dos hijas.

Ms. Vianney Sancen
My name is Vianney Sancen-Rosas. I was born in Salvatierra Guanajuato but have lived in Fort Worth all my life. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor's in Kinesiology. In my free time, I love being outdoors, riding bikes and enjoying nature. What I like most about being an educator is the impact on students so they can be the best version of themselves, no matter the circumstances.
Mi nombre es Vianney Sancen-Rosas. Nací en Salvatierra Guanajuato, pero he vivido en Fort Worth toda mi vida. Me gradué de la Universidad de Texas en Arlington con una licenciatura en Kinesiología. En mi tiempo libre me encanta estar al aire libre, andar en bicicleta, y disfrutar de la naturaleza.
