I began teaching at Wedgwood Middle School in the Fall of 2007. I taught 8th grade United States History. In 2011, I was awarded Campus Teacher of the Year and in 2012, the FWISD Sewell Lexus Chair for Teaching Excellence in the Humanities. I left Wedgwood for a short time and taught World History at Western Hills High School followed by a year at Sam Houston High School where I taught Senior IB History of the Americas. I returned to Wedgwood in 2016 and now teach 7th grade Texas History. I also serve as the teacher representative for PTA and co-sponsor student council.
