Mrs. Christina Vidrine
Originally from northern Indiana, Mrs. Vidrine is a lifelong fan of her alma mater - the University of Notre Dame - where she graduated with a business degree and certifications in International Business and Non-Profit Management.
Mrs. Vidrine has been teaching since 2014. She worked at Meacham Middle School for five years where she taught social studies, English/language arts, and AVID, before joining the MCCHS staff in the fall of 2019 as an AVID elective teacher. She is deeply appreciative of her colleagues and the school’s administrative team for their support and passion for their work. The students have been an absolute joy to teach and she is made proud of them anew every day.
Mrs. Vidrine is passionate about AVID and the pillars of its curriculum: writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading (otherwise known as WICOR). She believes that these skills will carry our MCCHS students to the success that they are working toward and beyond. She will be sponsoring the UIL spelling competition at MCCHS and she is very active in several TCC clubs, including the TCC Intramurals and athletic-based clubs.
Outside of school, Mrs. Vidrine loves to read (if you have any suggestions for her, let her know!), travel, and play sports. She is very adventurous and will try anything once! Above all else, she has a passion for learning about new people, places, and ideas, and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son.
