Choice and Enrichment Programming coordinates a variety of services offered to students who achieve at high levels or who have the potential to do so. All Programs and Schools of Choice are managed through this department, as are gifted and talented identification and advanced academic programs and services. All of our department’s work is focused on identifying and developing the academic talents of our students.
Dual credit allows high school students to experience college courses while still in high school.
The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) offers an outstanding elective course for young men and women. It emphasizes leadership development, self-discipline, and responsible patriotic citizenship. Students are taught confidence, leadership, and inter-personal relations. Strong emphasis is placed on integrity, personal worth, and physical fitness.
Career & Technical Education envisions all students in FWISD will be prepared for life and be college and career ready. The mission of Career & Technical Education is to prepare all students for success through quality services, rigorous curriculum, and state of the art facilities.
