Ms. Sharon McAdams

Ms. Sharon McAdams, also known as “Ms. Mac.” is a widow and has 2 adult sons (Justin and Taylor). She also has 3, four-legged babies, (that’s what she likes to call her doggies) Paco, Mackey and Lucy. Lucy is the newest member of her family and boy is she busy!

Mrs. McAdams was born and raised here in Fort Worth, and attended schools in Everman ISD. After high school, she attended Tarrant County College, graduating with an AAS in Child Development. She also has a BIS (Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies) degree in Teaching EC-6th, from LeTourneau University in Longview Tx.

Teaching is her God-given talent and calling. She firmly believes children are our future and she must help instill in them the things they’ll need to become good citizens and leaders for our community.

During her off time, she likes to read, watch tv, and spend time with her family. She also likes doing crafts and coming up with activities to enhance her students' learning. Her favorite color is purple, she loves fried chicken, her favorite drink is coke, and she loves strawberry cheesecake and brownies.

The 2022-2023 school year will be her 8th year working in public schools and it will be her 6th year being a part of the Sunrise McMillan School Family. She is looking forward to having a great time getting to know one another and learning.

She can’t wait to see you in our classroom!
