Your Jaguar is who the past dreamed of, the present we joy in, and the future that will create what we hope for.- Liam Rhaag

Mr. Graham believes each and every child has value and is gifted by the Creator with an extraordinary potential for success.  It is his goal to provide each student with an environment in which they can reach not just for one star, but All StARS.

Mr. Graham moved to Texas from the east coast in May of 2016.  Teaching was a 15 year dream of his so when the opportunity to work with kids presented itself, he went for it.  Beginning in the Fall of that year through May of 2018, Mr. Graham has worked in programs supporting students needing social and emotional support.  Having a SpEd certification has blessed Mr. Graham with the ability to work in the district's elementary alternative education program as well as with All StARS, providing  behavioral support to campuses and social skill training for students.  Obtaining a general certification in the summer of 2019 will allow Mr. Graham to also support your Jaguar in surpassing his or her academic goals this year, through several after-school programs that will be brought to Sunrise-McMillan.

Mr. Graham enjoys nothing more than being a mentor, coach, and cheerleader for your children and his own.  We are partners in this as teachers, parents, kids, and community.  Together we can do big things.  Stop Six Is Just Getting Started.

Mr. Michael Khodayari - Special Education/Inclusion Teacher

Michael Khodayari (Mr. K) teaches Special Education/Inclusion classes. He holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas Arlington (2012) and a bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of Texas Arlington (2008). Mr. Khodayari always had a heart for children with special needs, as a student himself, he struggled socially and emotionally in school because of disability. He made a pact with himself if he ever becomes a teacher, he’d rather work with special needs students. Mr. Khodayari’s career began at Sunrise McMillan in August of 2014 and he has been here ever since. On a personal note, Mr. K likes to cook, travel, jog, and play soccer.
