Mrs. Natalie LeVar Guerrero
My name is Natalie Guerrero and I am super excited to be returning for my 2nd year at S.S. Dillow Elementary School.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Social Sciences Teaching at Brigham Young University. Soon after graduating from BYU, I began my graduate program at the University of Texas at Arlington, and earned a master's degree in Social Work. Years later I went back to school at UTA for a post-graduate School Counseling Program and became a Professional School Counselor.
I have been married for 19 years to my husband, Simon, and we have 3 wonderful children: Chloe age 16, Aaron age 14, and Emma age 11. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, dancing, and doing yardwork/gardening.
I am grateful for my school family here at Dillow and I look forward to continued collaboration with teachers, administrators, parents, and students. I believe in the power of building connections and relationships with others. When we first focus on establishing a connection with children and make sure their needs are met, we are then better able to influence and guide them into adulthood.
As the year progresses, I will be including parenting tips, links, a calendar, and other helpful information on this website. Stay tuned.
