Fall 2019 Baalzebub

  • Based on William Golding's Lord of the Flies, Rachel Atkins has created a world very different from the one we know.

In the not so distant future an international war encroaches on the southern United States and our lives and values are upended. Survivors have been evacuated to a medical refugee camp that is about to be overrun by the enemy.  But in the evacuation process some have been left--accidentally or on purpose?  And what kind of world will those who have been abandoned create for themselves?

Baalzebub shows us a world much different from our today--especially for women.

The Western Hills High School advanced theatre arts department will be presenting this drama on Wednesday, November 20, and Thursday, November 21, 2019 at
7 PM in the WH Black Box Theatre.
Pre-sale tickets are on sale in room 270 for $3.00, and will be available at the door for $5.00.

Join us for a thought-provoking evening.
