    Notification of a Confirmed Positive COVID-19 Case

    An employee should notify their direct supervisor or campus administrator if the employee, or someone the employee has been in close contact with, tested positive for COVID-19.

    • The supervisor or campus administrator will initiate the COVID-19 reporting protocols through the Health Services Department.
    • The Health Services department will use the District guidelines to determine the appropriate course of action in accordance with the most recent CDC guidelines to the extent legally possible.

    Once the employee receives a quarantine disposition from the Health Services Department, an employee may apply for District COVID Leave as outlined below:

    • Access the application and information about the required documentation HERE
    • Submit the Application and required documentation to emp.services@fwisd.org
    • A decision regarding your completed application, which includes the required documentation, will be issued by the Employee Services department within five (5) business days.

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TIME CARDS

    Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we continue to work to implement the District’s time capture contingency plan due to the Kronos nationwide outage.

    Fort Worth ISD has developed an online application Time Capture system for employees in place of a paper timecard.

    Beginning Thursday, January 6, 2022, employees who normally record their clock in/out time in Kronos will now be required to enter daily clock in/out time utilizing the online application. Accordingly, the last date to record employee clock in/out time on paper timecards will be Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

    Each payroll timekeeper has been trained on the application and are available to assist with any questions. Directions for utilizing thetimekeeping application system are available here

    Again, thank you for your patience and flexibility as we navigate through the Kronos nationwide outage. We will continue this new process until further notice and after Kronos functionality is fully restored to the District.
