Tips for success
Coping with stress
It's no secret: School can be difficult. Part of thriving at a rigorous school such as TABS is learning how to handle the inevitable stress and anxiety. Check out these resources for lessons on how to deal with difficulties and manage your time more wisely.
Taking a break
Having a good school- or work-life balance is key for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Here are some fun (and often cheap or free) activities that you can do with family or friends. Note: Please follow all pandemic-related safety guidelines, and ensure that you have parental permission before you start making plans.
Sometimes, life gets too difficult for us to handle it all on our own. That's normal, and there's no shame in it. If you need immediate help, dial 911 or contact the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255. Your TABS counselor is also available to help you through difficult times. Contact information can be found on the TABS counseling page. Please, if you're struggling, don't go it alone.
