I was born in Hurst, Texas and I have lived there my whole life. I grew up loving dance and exploring the outdoors. I did colorguard at LD Bell High school. I have two older sisters. I am engaged and getting married in October! Teaching is in my blood and runs in my family. I went to college in Searcy, Arkansas at Harding University. I graduated in three and a half years. I love the outdoors, animals (especially dogs and cows), and of course SCHOOL!

Fun fact: I have three dogs! They are all Pit Bulls!

This is my first year as a teacher at ML Phillips! I did pre-student teaching in college in Falkirk, Scotland with 8-9 year old students. I did student teaching in Searcy, Arkansas in Kindergarten and 3rd grade. I was a substitute teacher in HEB ISD as a obtained my teaching certifications.

I am so excited for this year and to get to know the students! This time can be confusing and scary for everyone. My hope and goal is that my class is a safe and fun environment and that I can am a stable and consistent person to lean on. I love to watch students grow in their academics and as people. I am so passionate about getting to know the students as individuals and working to inspire and motivate them to love learning! I think it is so important to form positive relationships with the students so that I can meet their academic and personal needs to the best of my ability as their teacher. I hope every one of my students becomes a positive member of society. I hope they find a way to continue their education after high school. I hope they have a successful career and a happy life!
