    FAQs for Online Returning Student Form

    Fort Worth ISD is pleased to announce the online registration Returning Student Form. The forms that parents update each year for children returning to Fort Worth ISD for a new school year can now be completed online!

    How do I get started?

    A Snapcode has been included on the 2017-18 end of the year report card for incoming 2nd-12th grades, and incoming Kindergarten and 1st grade students were sent a letter home. You may also receive an email from PowerSchool InfoSnap with your child’s Snapcode and instructions for completing the online Returning Student Form.

    What’s a Snapcode?

    The Snapcode is like a key to your child’s Returning Student Form for the upcoming school year. You should receive a unique Snapcode or Snapcode link for each child.

    What do I do if I cannot find a Snapcode?

    If you no longer have your student’s final report card, didn’t receive a letter or email, please call your child’s campus and ask for a Snapcode.

    What if my child's information is incorrect (name or date of birth)?

    If your child’s name or birthdate is incorrect, you will need to take the birth certificate to campus. The Data Clerk will correct it in our Student Information System.

    I didn't receive a confirmation email?

    If you did not receive a confirmation email, please check your ‘junk’ folder. If you are concerned the online registration wasn’t submitted, please contact your child’s school and they will verify the status.

    What if I can't change the school?

    There should be a field below the name of the school which asks, “Is the correct school displayed.” If it is not, there is a drop-down menu to ask which school your child should attend and the reason for the change.

    Which campus do I call to retrieve the Snapcode (elementary going to middle or middle going to high school)?

    If you need a Snapcode for a student transitioning to another campus, contact the new campus the student will attend in the 2018-2019 school year.

    Should I create an account?

    If you’ve never completed an online Returning Student Form with InfoSnap, you should create an Registration Account. This allows you to securely save your work and come back at a later time if necessary. You can use your email address or cell phone number. If you already have an account, you can sign in and complete the form. (You should use the same account to complete forms for multiple children.)

    Do I have to answer all the questions?

    Questions marked as “required” must be completed.

    I’ve changed my address. What should I do?

    As part of the online registration Returning Student Form you will have the opportunity to update the student home address. You will be able to upload documents while completing the online registration. Have the following document ready to upload:

    • Proof of address (Gas, Water, Electric or Lease Agreement dated within 30 days and showing the service address)

    I’ve completed the form, now what?

    When you have finished entering your information, click “Review & Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot click on this button, you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions.

    What if I have more than one student in the District? Do I need to do this for each child?

    Yes, because you’ll need to provide information that is specific for each child. We recommend that you submit one Returning Student Form and then start another – this will allow you to “snap over” shared family information, which will save you time.

    For students new to the Fort Worth ISD, enrollment begins with online registration. Fort Worth ISD is transitioning to a new online registration system for the 2018-19 school year. 

    You will be able to upload documents while completing the online registration. Have the following documents ready to upload: 

    • Proof of address (Gas, Water, Electric or Lease Agreement dated within 30 days and showing the service address)
    • Guardian’s driver’s license or State ID
    • Birth Certificate (Must be Vital Statistics Birth Certificate)
    • Immunizations
    • Proof of income
    • Student’s Social Security Card (optional)

    You can use a smart phone to upload documents. Click the buttons above to register.
