CTE Inventory Refresh Process
It's time to do a full refresh of FWISD inventory so the district can remain in compliance with federal law. An email notifying each CTE teacher will be sent by Eduthings (vendor). This email will have attached the last know good inventory we have for that teacher and room number.
Teachers are asked to update this spreadsheet, while keeping the original formatting with the current status of their equipment. Teachers will upload their updated spreadsheet for approval to the provided Google folder. If adjustments are need to be the teacher will be contacted. CTE is available to meet with the teacher virtually or in person to help complete the task or go over any questions or concerns.
Timeline – March 23rd to May 1st.
Key fields that will need to filled and verified are:
- Teacher Name
- Room number
- CTE Cluster (CTE IS can fill)
- CTE Program of Study (CTE IS can fill)
- Asset tag (if ava)
- Serial # (if Ava)
- Current Condition
- Possession Status (*note Stored possession)
- Item Type
- Item Model
Filed that can be ignored at this time are: (CTE is building back end process to fill these areas)
- Funding Source
*As many of our campuses are in a Bond Phase and item are stored in locations that are not accessible to the teacher of record we have add “Stored” as a choice with in the possession status field. If “Stored” is selected the teacher will need to note the location the “Name” field.
