  • Varsity Honor Roll

We are pleased to announce that we had 100% retention of our varsity football team. In fact, we added one that was ineligible to start the season, and he too made the A/B honor roll.

All together, 17 of our young men made the A or A/B Honor Roll.

Thank you for all the hard work in helping our team to accomplish this goal.    We truly appreciate all you do for our kids!

  • New Record

Posted by Coach Moilan on 9/13/2021

The football team defeated the Poly Parrots on Friday night by a score of 46-7.  The guys played great!  The offense set a new school record with 667 total yards of offense.  This beats a record that has stood since 2002.

Offensively, Jason Green had a huge night rushing for 202 yards. Keyon Butler had 173 yards, and Tyreke Lewis had 103 yards.  3 players rushing over 100 yards could not happen without a great offensive line. RJ Moilan, Janaii Thompson, Angel Ortiz, Kishaun Brookins, and Marcos Gutierrez did a great job all night long. K’Heaven Johnson and Cam Bernard also helped create holes up front.

Defensively, Donte Parker Garrett had a great night at linebacker. Caleb Clark also made some huge stops.  The Defensive line was led by D’shun Hawkins and Aeneas Funches had a huge night in the secondary.

Elikya Mapendano was 5-5 on extra points and added a 30 yard FG.  He has really stepped up and I think he is enjoying his time with the football team.

The Cougars are off this week. We next play on Friday the 24th vs Diamond Hill Jarvis.  We will be the visitors that night at Farrington field with a 7 pm kickoff.

    RING THE BELL!!!  GO COUGARS!!!
