Thanks to Texas Health C.C. Moss eagles are readers. Texas Health sponsored a free book fair to all students at Christene C. Moss elementary school. Every student picked two free books. Students selected their books and then celebrated with a book rave dance party. Great music, party lights, and a love for reading made this event fun for all. Thanks to Texas Health and Scholastic books, there were a variety of books to choose from. Favorite characters, new series, and fabulous non-fiction finds were some of the selections for the students. Developing a love for reading is a corner stone at C.C. Moss elementary. Principal Charla Staten said “We are truly blessed that Texas Health believes in our students and understands how important reading is in a child’s future ”. Dual language kindergarten teacher Karina Carcamo said “I really value seeing my students happy and express their love for reading. The students were excited about taking the books home and the parents were surprised that they could keep the books. Times are tough and this helps bring reading into the family”. The C.C. Moss community appreciates the generosity of Texas Health. They are great community partners.
