November 11, 2021, five of our Cadets met two graduates of WHHS at the Fort Worth Mayor’s International Dinner held at the River Ranch Stockyards.
In the first picture you will see USAF Major General (Retired) Brian Newby, Attorney and Managing Partner of Cantey Hanger (WHHS 1979).
- Maj Gen Newby and I worked together from 2008 to 2010 when he was the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Texas and I served as the Director of Staff to the Texas Air National Guard.
In the third picture is Mr. Carlo Capua, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Mayor’s Office and Council (WHHS 1996)
- Mr. Capua expressed strong interest to meet with and address our students when Administration thinks it would fit with our schedule
The Cadets who served as the Color Guard for the Dinner last night were:
Group Commander: C/Lt Col Arturo Salgado
Director of Operations: C/Maj Karen Medina (American Flag)
C/TSgt Jose Torres (American Flag rifle)
