Area Track Meet Photos by Ralph Lauer have been added to the Photo Gallery.

Last week the Lady Cougars competed in the District 8-4A track meet.

The 4x100 and 4x200 advanced to Area and will compete on Thursday, April 21. AnJell Smith,Gabryl Huckleberry, Kyra Kay, Arie'yona Christion, Iyanu McNatt, and Jaliya James advanced in the relays, while Arie'yona Christion will also compete in the Open 100m as well as Monicah Jones and Abby Moilan advancing in the discus and shot put. 

The Junior Varsity girls had a good showing, earning medals in all three relays.

Discus: Te'Audra Robertson 3^rd place
Long Jump: Braylah Brooks 5^th place
100m Dash: Drayiana Holmes 2^nd place; Kathryn Whitaker 4^th place
4 x 100m Relay (Rylee Harris, Brenda Gonzales, Michelle Gutierrez, and Drayiana Holmes) 3^rd place
4 x 200m Relay: (Rylee Harris, Brenda Gonzales, Kathryn Whitaker, and Drayiana Holmes) 2^nd place
4 x 400m Relay: Rylee Harris, Michelle Gutierrez, Gabriela Cuevas, and Candace Ndekelengwe) 3^rd place 

Girls' and Boys' 4x100 meter Relay Teams

Going into spring break, the boys and girls track team competed in the Scorpion Relays on 3-10-22 and over spring break the boys and girls competed in the Lobo Invitational on 3-19-22.

The Western Hills HS boys' and girls' track teams competed in the Weatherford Kangaroo Relays on March 3rd, setting several personal records.

The boys and girls track team competed in the Dallas Bryan Adams Cougar Relays this past Saturday and represented Western Hills well.
