Fort Worth ISD’s Saturday Learning Quest offers students targeted learning opportunities for academic growth, taking place over 13 Saturdays in the 2023-24 school year.

Data from the 2020-23 school year shows that SLQ students who attended regularly accelerated their learning. Fort Worth ISD for the 2023-24 school year will be bringing back the Saturday Learning Quest program at the following campus locations.

Student Program Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Participating Grades: Kindergarten - 5th grade

Students from participating campuses will engage in rigorous, active instruction in literacy and math, and enjoy art and music, physical activities, and labs. Free transportation is available for students that live 2 miles outside the home school radius. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Participating schools will contact the parents of the students that meet program requirements and need additional educational opportunities to achieve academic gains.  Program space is limited. Participating students will engage in additional math and reading instruction and will experience enrichment opportunities for art, music, physical activities, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

Saturday Learning Quest de Fort Worth ISD ofrece a los estudiantes oportunidades de aprendizaje específicas para el crecimiento académico, que se llevará a cabo durante 13 sábados en el año escolar 2023-24. Los datos del año escolar 2020-23 muestran que los estudiantes de SLQ que asistieron regularmente aceleraron su aprendizaje. Fort Worth ISD para el año escolar 2023-24 traerá de vuelta el programa Saturday Learning Quest en las siguientes ubicaciones.

Horario del Programa Estudiantil: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Grados participantes: Kindergarten - 5to grado

Queremos que los estudiantes participantes reciban una instrucción rigurosa y activa en alfabetización y matemáticas, y disfruten del arte y la música, las actividades físicas y los laboratorios. Se aportará transporte gratuito a los estudiantes que viven a 2 millas fuera del radio de la escuela habitual. Desayuno y almuerzo tambien sera proporcionados.
