• 2023-2024 FLEX Dispute Information

Teachers who have not met this year’s 2023-2024 FLEX requirements will receive an email from the Professional Learning Department the week of April 1, 2024.

Teachers will have the opportunity to dispute their FLEX credit allocations based on the following discrepancies:

    • Attending a session or sessions but not being awarded credit (Marked Registered/Pending Credit).
    • Being marked absent for a class they attended.
    • Being on Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) or Leave during the school year.
    • Being a late hire and potentially needing adjustment to their individual prorated schedule.
      • Note that there is no proration schedule for teachers hired before October 9, 2023.
    • Other scenarios.

This dispute-resolution process aims to rectify any identified discrepancies within individual Strive portfolios. The Dispute Form will close on April 14, 2024.

The Professional Learning Team will review each teacher’s Eduphoria! account to verify their FLEX hours and communicate the outcome via email by April 17, 2024.
