A Great Place to Live
Fort Worth is situated within one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country. North Texas also has one of the strongest business climates in the country. And even though more than 700,000 people call Fort Worth home, the city still has the feel of a real community. Strangers say hello on the streets and neighbors get to know one another. Helped by a moderate climate, thousands turn out for annual events such as the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, the Fort Worth Main St. Arts Festival, Mayfest, Cinco de Mayo celebrations, and Pioneer Days.
It costs less to live the good life in Fort Worth. The cost of living is well below the national average for housing, utilities, and transportation. Best of all, there is no personal state income tax in Texas.
The Fort Worth Lifestyle
There is always something to do in Fort Worth. You can dance to great country music at Billy Bob’s Texas — The World’s Largest Honky Tonk, catch a variety of artists and activities at the Bass Performance Hall, stroll through the nationally acclaimed Fort Worth Zoo, enjoy the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and take in the art at three world-class museums in the Cultural District.
