I love learning and I love watching students learn and succeed! Math, Biology and Computers are my favorite subjects. I obtained my Ph.D. in Biology studying the nuclear organization of DNA and how that affects gene expression. I have 2 sons who are 16 and 9. I teach Biology for science majors and sometimes Genetics at TCC-Northeast Campus, where my wife, Kristin, is a Biology Professor and Co-chair of the Biology department. I love watching and participating in sports (particularly biking, golf, swimming and tennis).

This year she will celebrate 23 years of marriage with her husband Jeff. She loves to read and has two big dogs: Shadow "Baby Girl" weighing in at 100 lbs. (German Shepherd) and Turbo, her son weighs in at 140 lbs. (German Shepherd / Lab / Retriever Mix).
