Fort Worth was recently funded for five years to address our students' health as well as to help provide a safe & supportive environment for them. The funding comes from DASH, the CDC’s Division of Adolescent School Health.
Our team met with districts all across the USA to learn about tools & resources to best provide our children with what they need to be productive & healthy citizens
It was mostly very serious work but we did get an opportunity to visit the David J. Sencer Museum and try on some Hazmat suits!

The District has utilized Federal Title funds to outfit our playgrounds with equipment that can be used by students and community members during recess and after school hours.
