What is BTAP?
BTAP stands for Bilingual Teacher Assistant Program. BTAP is a program that hires college students to work part time as a teacher assistant in a dual language classroom.
Why should I want to be part of BTAP?
BTAPs gain valuable classroom experience while working alongside an experienced cooperating teacher. Earn hourly pay plus an opportunity for supplemental pay. We are flexible with school schedules and BTAPs work between 13-14.5 hours a week. In addition, BTAPs receive monthly trainings that help prepare them for the teacher role. FWISD administrators are familiar with our program and are eager to hire BTAPs as soon as they graduate from college.
