Principal - Miguel Del Toro
Mr. Miguel Del Toro joins Rosemont Middle School after serving three years as a successful Paschal High School Dean of Instruction/Assistant Principal of Math/Science/Special Education and Engineering. Mr. Del Toro was also an award-winning administrator in Dallas ISD. Mr. Del Toro started his education career as a bilingual teacher in Arlington ISD back in 2000-2001. Mr. Del Toro also served in Dallas ISD ten years as teacher, coach and as an Assistant Principal. In 2009 he was selected by his peers as Teacher of Year at Reagan Elementary. He has experience both in elementary and as well as in secondary settings. In 2014, Mr. Del Toro was selected to be part of the elite program of Dallas ISD Fellow Leadership Academy where he was trained by the Harvard Leadership Institute, and specialized in Data Driven Instruction and Teacher Effectiveness while serving as an administrator at Hector P. Garcia Middle School. Mr. Del Toro brings to Rosemont Middle School over sixteen years of education experience and a successful record as an educator and administrator. His seven-year-old daughter Valerie, will be attending second grade this school year. Mr. Del Toro enjoys golf, camping/RVing, and riding his motorcycle.
Assistant Principal - April G. Beltran
In 1994, Ms. Beltran received her bachelor’s degree from Texas Wesleyan University where she specialized in Science and Education. She began working for Fort Worth ISD in 1995 as an 8th grade science teacher at Meadowbrook Middle School; throughout her 15 years there, she served as a Team Leader, Science Department Chair, Science Lead Content Teacher, a district model classroom and an Assistant Principal Intern. In 2008, she graduated with a master’s degree in Leadership from UTA and became the Data Analyst at Wedgwood MS. In 2010, she was promoted to an Assistant Principal with the district and is coming from the Riverside Middle School family where she inspired a love for learning, instilled structure, and aimed high for all students. Now, she begins her place with the Rosemont MS family as the 8th grade Assistant Principal, where she hopes to continue those same values. When she’s not at school, she enjoys photography, fishing, and spending time with her children and granddaughter.

Assistant Principal - Stephanie Ruiz
Ms. Ruiz is excited to be the new 7th grade Assistant Principal at Rosemont Middle School. She received her B.A. in English and M. Ed. from the University of Texas at Arlington. Ms. Ruiz taught ELA at J.P. Elder Middle School and North Side High School. She has also been an administrator at various schools in the district. Ms. Ruiz uses restorative practices and skills learned from Capturing Kids’ Hearts to build effective relationships with students while simultaneously teaching them ways to manage conflict and accept responsibility for their actions. She believes teachers are key in unlocking the passion for lifelong learning. Her goal is to support teachers at Rosemont so that they can continue to challenge and inspire students with engaging experiences. In her free time, Ms. Ruiz loves to read, run, and travel.
