Moving forward in its efforts to rapidly improve student academic success, Fort Worth ISD named the principals of the ELEVATE campuses. These esteemed leaders are tasked with providing heightened support to teachers to help students succeed.

ELEVATE is how FWISD will accelerate student achievement; by providing stronger support, clearer structure, and more resources to the schools that need it most. Those efforts start today with the campus leaders ready to start work improving schools.

These leaders will focus on strengthening daily instruction, ensuring consistent, high-quality teaching, real-time support for students, and added staffing and structure.

“I am confident that the leaders selected are not only experts in education, but in meeting the needs of students. The principals we are putting in these schools are tasked with hard work, but their drive for student success will help them succeed — which will help kids succeed,” FWISD Superintendent Dr. Peter B. Licata said. “Some of the principals we selected are remaining at their schools or have been in Fort Worth ISD for years, their institutional knowledge and campus connections give them an even better head start in putting changes in place. Our team of Regional Chiefs and Deputy Superintendent, Chief of Schools Dr. Daniel Soliz conducted a thorough search, and I commend them for selecting such dynamic leaders. I look forward to everything we will accomplish together.”
