Both Dunbar and Arlington Heights high schools won state events

Fort Worth ISD student-athletes brought home two gold medals in track and field events from the UIL state meet last weekend. 

Dunbar High School senior Cayden Brooks brought home gold in the 4A boys long jump with a mark of 23-10.5! He also won silver in the 4A boys triple jump with a mark of 47-06.5. 

The other FWISD gold medal came home with Arlington Heights senior Justin Stewart, who won the 5A boys 100-meter dash with a time of 10.23 seconds! He also won the 4A boys 200-meter dash with a time of 20.63 seconds.

Both of these seniors got to end their high school athletic careers with gold medals, congratulations!
