Following the posting of the agenda, individuals desiring to make a public comment may sign-up by calling 817-814-1920 up until 4:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. After this time, individuals may sign-up in person at the meeting until 5:20 p.m.

Upon a 24-hour notice, a speaker may request ADA accommodations, including, but not limited to, a sign language interpreter. Accommodations may be requested by calling 817-814-1920.

This meeting will be recorded and archived on Fort Worth ISD’s YouTube channel and on the FWISD Video on Demand site.

The Board of Education appreciates the public’s compliance with the guidelines that serve to effectively conduct District business.

Board Room Signage Notice: The District has updated its meeting guidelines regarding signs in the Board room. Signs are permitted in the Board room only if they comply with the District’s posted meeting guidelines. Signs must be handheld, may not exceed 11 x 17 inches, may not be attached to poles, sticks, or other supports, and may not obstruct visibility, block aisles or exits, create a safety concern, or disrupt the orderly conduct of the meeting.

Public Comment Notice: Beginning with the August 11, 2026 regular Board meeting, public comment will be organized into three portions to allow speakers to address the Board at the appropriate stage of the meeting:

1. Consent Agenda
The first public-comment portion will address items listed on the consent agenda. Speakers registered to address one or more consent-agenda items will be heard before the Board considers and votes on the consent agenda.

2. Action Items
The second public-comment portion will address items listed as action items. All speakers registered to address one or more action items will be heard before the Board begins its consideration of any action items. Public comment will not be taken separately before each action item.

3. General Items
The third public-comment portion will occur after the Board has concluded its consideration of all action items. During this portion, speakers may address matters related to District business or operations, regardless of whether the subject is included on the meeting agenda.

A speaker who registers for only one public-comment portion will generally receive up to three minutes. A speaker who registers for more than one public-comment portion will receive up to two minutes during each portion for which the speaker is registered.

Registering to speak about multiple consent-agenda items or multiple action items does not provide additional speaking time within that portion of the meeting.
