Fort Worth Independent School District
April 14, 2026 - The Fort Worth ISD Board of Managers has approved a plan to delay the implementation of Additional School Day Year (ADSY) programming for summer 2026. As a result, ADSY will not be offered this coming summer, and the school calendar for these campuses will remain aligned with the traditional calendar.
The last day of school for students at these campuses is May 21, 2026.
Fort Worth ISD will use this additional time to thoughtfully prepare for a future summer-based ADSY model, including campus readiness, staff training, and programming aligned to key academic priorities in literacy and mathematics.
