Improve literacy in our schools
Read2Win places volunteer reading coaches on campuses to provide weekly 30-minute literacy support sessions to first grade students the campus identifies. The goal of the program is to help students read on grade level by second grade. Once the partnership launches, it also will include a summer reading intervention program.

Enrollment Help
Assist parents who do not have computers, do not feel comfortable with technology, or do not understand the language to register their children for the 2025-26 school year. Early registration helps schools better prepare for the upcoming school year.

Build a playground
Give children a chance to be healthy and learn at their best! Volunteer at Meadowbrook Elementary School to help build a new playground. Through play, children learn skills for study, work, and relationships. No experience is necessary.

Help run the Stop Six Food Drive
The FWISD Family Action Center distributes fresh, healthy food like dairy, produce and meats every second Thursday of the month in the Stop Six area.
Volunteers will help set up, clean up, check in, stock tables, load cars, and greet cars in the line.

Be a celebrity reader
Seminary Hills Parks invites parent and community volunteers to be Celebrity Readers during their annual One Book, One School reading program. With One School, One Book, each student receives a copy to read at home with her/his family. Each morning, the whole school reads a chapter from 7:50 am to 8:15 am. This year, the book to be read by all the schools will be The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davis. Volunteers are invited to be part of the fun by coming to read with a class one of the chapters.
