English Literacy and Civics Classes

English literacy and civics classes assist adults who wish to prepare for United States citizenship. Becoming a U.S. citizen helps adults become more active in the community and be more informed residents

 

These classes include instruction in literacy, English as a Second Language, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship and civic participation, and U.S. workforce prep.

 

Classes are held throughout Tarrant County and taught by trained staff who carefully guide students through the course and prepare them for the citizenship exam.
