Dual Credit Program
In partnership with Tarrant County College (TCC), FWISD offers eligible high school students the chance to take college-level courses that count for both high school and college credit.
Key Features:
- Courses taught by TCC faculty
- Earn college and high school credit simultaneously
- Available to students who meet TSI eligibility
- Courses may be taken on TCC campuses or high school campuses
Requirements:
- Meet TSI (Texas Success Initiative) standards
- Bacterial meningitis vaccination (for on-campus TCC classes)
- Maintain a grade of C or higher to remain eligible

Early College High School (ECHS)
ECHS programs are designed to help students graduate with 60+ hours of transferable college credit or an associate degree, tuition-free.
Designated ECHS Campuses:
- Marine Creek Collegiate High School
- Texas Academy of Biomedical Sciences
- O.D. Wyatt Collegiate Academy
- Dunbar Collegiate Academy
- South West High School Collegiate Academy
